Boyd’s Custom Drapery has been in the business since 1996. The owner loved producing quality work with her hands. She was initially doing wedding gowns and all sorts of dressmaking.
However, she had a eureka moment when she moved to a new home with lots of windows. She suddenly had this urge to do curtains and that she said brought about Boyd’s Custom Drapery.
Though she has been in the business for quite some time, it was only in 2008 when she had a store front which most people visit. She likes that her customers get the chance to see the quality of the fabric they use up close and that they can also visualize if the curtains will work with the theme that they are going for in their home or office.
The owner is also welcoming customers to her workstation – a practice, not all drapery companies do. She opens up her space because she also wants her customers to see how their curtains are being made and that she is proud of every product that goes out of their shop.
